LA IGLESIA DE CRISTO EL COLLI -ZAPOPAN FUE BENDECIDA POR DIOS CON LA REALIZACION DE UN SUENO. LA PRIMERA ETAPA DEL PLAN DE MISIONES 2004 - 2007 YA SE CUMPLIO. PARA LA IGLESIA DE ZAPOPAN ESTA PRIMERA ETAPA DE SU PLAN DE MISIONES FUE UNA GRAN OPORTUNIDAD DE TRABAJAR POR CRISTO Y VER NACER UNA NUEVA IGLESIA.
LA IGLESIA DE CRISTO EN TEPIC CUENTA AHORA EN SEPTIEMBRE 2008 CON 10 MIEMBROS ADULTOS Y UNA CANTIDAD CONSIDERABLE DE NINOS. CUENTA TAMBIEN CON UN PREDICADOR DEDICADO DE TIEMPO COMPLETO A ESA OBRA DE DIOS. EXISTEN ADEMAS VARIOS PROSPECTOS PARA POSIBLES CONVERSIONES PROXIMAS.
REALMENTE TENEMOS NOSTALGIA POR HABER TERMINADO NUESTROS VIAJES A TEPIC. APRENDIMOS A AMAR A LA GENTE DE ESA CIUDAD. SEGUIREMOS APOYANDO ESA OBRA CON NUESTRAS ORACIONES Y CON SOSTENIMIENTO PARA EL PREDICADOR Y SU FAMILIA. ELLOS SON CARLOS Y NADIA, Y EN UNOS 6 MESES RECIBIRAN SU BB.
LA IGLESIA DE ZAPOPAN INICIARA SU NUEVA ETAPA DE MISIONES EN LA LOCALIDAD DE TEQUILA, Jalisco 2008 - 2011. LA IDEA ES REALIZAR EL MISMO TRABAJO QUE DURANTE 4 ANOS HICIMOS EN TEPIC: PLANTAR UNA NUEVA IGLESIA DE CRISTO, Y DEJARLA CON UN NUEVO PREDICADOR.
DURANTE LOS VIAJES QUE ESTUVIMOS HACIENDO A TEPIC, SIEMPRE PASAMOS CERCA DE TEQUILA. NUESTROS CORAZONES YA ESPERAN QUE LLEGUEMOS A ESE LUGAR. INICIAREMSO VIAJES EN OCTUBRE DE ESTE ANO.
PEDIMOS A TODA LA HERMANDAD DE LA IGLESIA DE CRISTO QUE TIENE PARTE EN ESTE MINISTERIO QUE NOS INCLUYAN EN SUS ORACIONES. DE ANTEMANO LES DECIMOS GRACIAS.

P.D.....De manera extra la iglesia de Zapopan está apoyando a una nueva comunidad de cristianos que existen en Tepatitlan, Jalisco. Ellos son nuevos en Cristo. Para el fin del año 2008 realizaremos una campana evangelistica en ese lugar con el fin de contactar mas prospectos y la iglesia local crezca.

A Dream comes true
Note from the preacher at Zapopan: Jose Palafox
September – 2008
The “El Colli Church of Christ” in Zapopan was blessed by God with the reality of a dream – the first stage of our plan form missions in 2004-2007 was fulfilled. For the church in Zapopan was a first stage but also was an opportunity to work for Christ and to see a new church be planted.
Starting in September 2008 the church in Tepic consists of 10 adult members with a good amount of children. Also, now they have a full time preacher to work with them. Also, there are several prospects for future conversions.
Truly we are filled with nostalgia to have finished our trips to Tepic, but we have learned to love the people in this city. We will continue to support this work with our prayers, and our financial commitment to the Carlos and Nadia. They are expecting, and will be parents in six months.
Now, the Zapopan church will begin a new stage in missions in the city of Tequila, Jalisco 2008-2011. The idea is to repeat the work during a four year period similar to the one done in Tepic. We want to plan a new church and find a preacher with them.
Every time we drove to Tepic we passed Tequila, and our hearts and prayers have been there and we cannot wait to get there. We will begin this October 2008.
We ask our brothers and sisters of the Churches of Christ to pray for us. And we thank you.

PS Also, we are at the moment helping our community of Christians in the city of Tepatitlan, Jalisco. They are a new church also, and at the end of 2008 we will hold an evangelistic Campaign to find new contacts and grow the church.
